Organisations we support

Centre of Contemporary Photography

Through exhibitions, education and publishing, Centre for Contemporary Photography (CCP) places contemporary Australian photography and video in conversation with significant historical and international practice, expanding the context for current Australian lens-based arts.

Speculative Horizons

Speculative Horizons is a cross-cultural project initiated by artists, curators and educators that use lens-based mediums and research as the primary methods to facilitate and establish projects and connect with the world through and with photography. Working with a collaborative approach that embraces experiences across Australia, Kuwait, Japan and the United Kingdom we instigate, facilitate and manage exhibitions, symposia and education projects.

PHOTO Australia

PHOTO Australia was founded in 2018 to launch a major new photography biennale in Melbourne and sites across Regional Victoria. Taking place every two years, the festival addresses the major issues of our time in a program of free exhibitions, outdoor displays and artist commissions across the city, as well as awards, talks, workshops, tours and experiences. Presenting ideas critical to contemporary photographic discourse, PHOTO encourages the public to engage with and think about photography and visual culture in new and inspiring ways.

Museum of Australian Photography

The Museum of Australian Photography (MAPh; formerly Monash Gallery of Art/MGA) is the Australian home of photography. It champions Australian artists and inspires audiences to embrace, explore and value photography. It engages local, national and international audiences in arts and cultural experiences through its high-calibre exhibitions, prizes and programs.
